Ecdysiast

In this sixth story in the Peter and Rosetta series, Peter is now tied down with family responsibilities and settles in for a life of writing detective stories instead of living them. As he progresses with his tale of a stripper who is being stalked, he is called into service by his friend Charlie to help him out in an investigation. Peter finds some uncanny similarities between the fictional case he is writing and the real case he is filling in for Charlie. The parallels become even more bizarre when his children persuade him to write a story for them and the story he is writing for the children also has parallels in his real life. The plot thickens as three hilarious and suspenseful stories intertwine in parallel paths. The story features the cast of characters familiar to readers of this series including Peter and Rosetta, Charlie Hunt, Doug Davis, and others, and introduces another unforgettable character in the person of Tiffany Glass.
