Immortal Decision

"Do I look intimidating to you?" He asked as he turned to her and lightly grasped her shoulders to turn her to face him.

She felt the color rise in her cheeks and smiled, softly. "No. But I wouldnt want to pick a fight with you either." She stood tense with his hands covering her shoulders.

Rowan pulled her slightly closer to him and looked down deeply into her eyes. "And now?"

Christina swallowed hard and looked to his lips that were slowly coming close to her own. Her heartbeat plummeted as he slowly descended his mouth over hers and took it, gently parting her lips with his tongue and took in the sweetness only her mouth could give him. She returned his kiss, slowly then pulled away, breaking it. "Uh, I'm sorry, I usually don't kiss on the first date, so to speak."

Rowan smiled and said nothing before cupping her cheeks with his palms and saying, "there is always a first time for everything, darling. Would you like to try again?"

Her heart skipped a beat and she moved closer to him and slowly raised her chin, looking into his eyes and becoming mesmerized with their color.

He pulled her tightly to him and held her so close she could feel her senses heighten. He said nothing and crushed his lips to hers a bit more roughly, and allowed his tongue to once more explore the depth of her sweet mouth. He pulled away and smiled, and spoke softly to her. "I love your taste."

Christina blushed, openly, and was too nervous to speak.

"So do I intimidate you at all now?" He asked, smiling into her eyes.
