Our Day Will Come is a tale of teenage friends, but more than that, it’s a reflection of that time—innocence tempered with love, laughter, heartache and sorrow.
Growing up in rural New England in 1963 might not seem like much of a challenge in this new century. After all, the most pressing issues of the era were concerned with if the weather would hold until harvest time, or if the local high school football team would make the playoffs. But as the kids of Pine Valley looked forward to vacation, the winds of change were blowing. Little did they know that this particular summer would be a primer for the rest of their lives.
