Laura Kingsford is a wealthy Palm Beach socialite, albeit a little zany! She and her gorgeous plastic surgeon husband are living the high life in their mansion by the bay, but is she fulfilled? Sure, she has a closet full of designer shoes and racks of couture clothing, yet Laura quickly discovers that life is lonely on top of her high heels. It will take a stranger named Lou Bertini to show Laura a deeper purpose in life. Although their relationship is rocky at times, Lou shows Laura the path to fulfillment through giving of herself to help others…giving in the dark!
