Journey up the Stairs: An Adventure in Faith

This is the story of trials and triumphs of a senior woman, who is also a VIP (visually impaired person), learning to cope with deteriorating vision and a crumbling longtime marriage. In the midst of turmoil, inexplicable events and lost dreams, she finds direction, peace, new goals and remarkable, unexpected opportunities.

This autobiographical sketch is likened to a long climb up a staircase, with delays on various stairs or landings to rest, re-evaluate, recoup or wait for direction. It reveals a sense of surprise and joy in accomplishment when finally looking back. This is a story of faith, a fantastic adventure in trusting Him (God), written to encourage others, young or old, male or female, who are coping with loss or confusion, incomprehensible situations or just looking for purpose and direction for their lives.
