When you were young, they told there were no such things as monsters.
They were wrong.

Rift Valley is a unique community, primarily populated by retirees. It is set within the forested slopes of a scar in the earth, a miles-long gash that even geologists are puzzled about. But it’s a pleasant area, full of houses and ongoing development. Or at least one side is.

The other side…well, there’s something wrong there. Legends abound of strange sightings, but nothing has ever been verified. Until one night when the horrific truth escapes, and the residences of Rift Valley discover they are the food of legends.
