Return again to the Dark World. Having prevented Armageddon, Corpse summons the exiled members of the Covenant to return to Sanctuary in an effort to change their behavior as he did with the others. Meanwhile the Headsman, an immortal executioner, comes to New York to join forces with the Covenant's long time enemies, the Silver Order of Paladins. The Daimonoids find themselves feuding with each other while trying to defend themselves against these righteous crusaders. More of Zakarias' dark secrets are unveiled, but none shall compare to the awful realization that will bring Corpse to his knees.
