This guide an effort to provide information on selected California
native grasses; growth characteristics, geographical location, physical
location, and seed Data. The descriptions are based on current
knowledge of the natural occurring range of native grass species. This
does not infer that a species can not survive outside these geographic
and physical locations or that they do not naturally occur outside
these locations.
