The values of our country have changed radically over the past few decades thanks to an institution that was created by and for a system (communism) that we have detested for a lifetime. This has led me to the question, what consequences do we accept by allowing political correctness to govern what we do, say, and think? Political correctness has affected every American. It has helped some while restricting the imaginations and ideas of many more. Its standards and principals have become entrenched in our societal values and the repercussions wrought by it can be felt on a global scale. This Blight in our society must be dealt with decisively if our way of life is to survive.
