Managing Manure Nutrients at Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations: Draft Guidance

This manual discusses the applicability and implementation of the proposed effluent limitations guidelines and standards (ELGs) and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements for concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs). The main purpose of this manual is to provide guidance to CAFO owners and/or operators and permitters on complying with the permit nutrient plan requirements. This is a draft document that is based on the proposed rule.
