Have you ever wanted to step back in time and see firsthand what it was like? Well, I guess just about everyone has dreamed of doing that at one time or another. By reading old newspapers from Rhyolite, talking to descendants (and just being downright nosey) I had that chance.
On one of my trips to the past, I met a delightful woman named Rebecca. She showed me Rhyolite and told wonderful stories. (Although she is somewhat of a gossip.)
Well, I guess that you get the idea. we are going to let Rebecca tell this story. so take a walk in the past, turn back the clock to 1905 when the last of the hard rock miners were still seeking their fortunes in that elusive metal GOLD!
