To explain the roots of the American Tea Party movement as expressed by the 19th century democrats. Historical development and growth of the American Democratic Party, from its Bourbon Democrat founders, through its transitions from Grover Cleveland to William Jennings Bryan, when it crossed over the almost consistent policies of the Republican Party meddlers and manipulators, beginning with Alexander Hamilton, through Abraham Lincoln to Teddy Roosevelt, and began its even more meddling policies reflected in Compte, Rousseau and Karl Marx, where it rests today. This book obviously takes a position that the Bourbon Democrats had it right and its policies, now recognized more as conservative and libertarian, should be brought back.
