Oscar Wilde's "Salome" is a play that was originally published in French in 1891. It is a dramatization of the biblical story of Salome, the step-daughter of Herod, who asks for the head of John the Baptist in return for dancing for Herod. This edition contains 15 beautiful art-deco style black and white illustrations.
