The House on Blue Hill

The year was 1875. Beautiful, young Sarah Elizabeth Thornton was raised by the Sisters of Charity in Boston after being taken there by an English sea captain. Embraced by the wealthy Prescott family, her perfect life is disturbed by suspioious accidents which almost cost Sarah her life and by the unwanted affections of a brash and arrogant real estate developer from San Francisco who is determined to have her, even against her will. Intrigued by a mysterious man with deep brown eyes who comes to her rescue, the pieces of Sarah's early life start to come together.
