The Mystery of Edwin Drood [Illustrated]

Charles Dickens' last novel, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," was left unfinished at the time of his death. It is the tale of the orphan Drood's opium-addicted choirmaster uncle, John Jasper, who is to be married to Rosa. Edwin disappears and his friend Neville is blamed for his murder, but Dickens died before writing the conclusion ... hence the "mystery." It was published serially in 1870, but only 6 or the 12 stories were finished. This edition contains 15 beautiful illustrations.
