Straw Bonnets were big business in Southeastern Massachusetts during the Mid Nineteenth Century. This paper describes the business and a tour through the Union Works in Foxborough Massachusetts during the 1860's. The union works was once the worlds largest manufacturer of Straw Bonnets and Hats.
