The eBook is a counterpart to "A Complete Look at Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome" (each title being collections of articles, written at different times and later compiled into eBooks).

Mitral Valve Prolapse is the single most common heart condition that exists in the world. It is actually not considered a disease by some in the medical community but is rather a heart murmur. The condition can rarely develop into a disease state such as in uncommon cases in which heart enlargement or congestive heart failure develops.

When someone with this condition of usually mild heart arrhythmias and palpitations does experience symptoms, it is referred to as "Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome". Some of the resulting symptoms can include fatigue, anxiety and panic attacks and imbalances in the involuntary nervous system.

The nervous system involvement is referred to as "dysautonomia" and some medical sources are of the opinion that symptoms may be more related to the dysautonomia than to the click heart murmur itself.

It is also believed that symptoms related to the nervous system imbalance can be severe in some patients even if the MVP is mild or almost undetectable.
