The book New York's City Hall doesn't want you to read...

Bullets fly—a city councilman is dead—and when Kurt Lvov stops hiding, he curses his new camera gig. But that’s showbiz, and since the Queen Latifah show got canned he’ll shoot anything for a buck, even shadowing the arrogant mayor of New York City.

Between the dead air, office wrestling and busted cameras from dodge ball, your tax dollars are hard at work at Crosswalks, the city’s television station. With Kurt’s life a mess he enjoys the mischief. But when the new mayoral appointees arrive they muck it up, re-branding it NYCTV—a glitzy, glamorized tribute to “Hizzoner”. Kurt now has to shoot every mundane thing the wealthy mayor does or face the wrath of his heroin-addled producer. But as he watches the trusted staff get away with theft, fraud and a mysterious disappearance, his conscience beckons. Troubled further by his mother’s looming death and a vengeful old mobster who demands the unthinkable, Kurt sees he can no longer hide behind the lens. But as he attempts to expose the wrongs of the mayor and his goons, he soon finds the old adage rings true that, “You can’t fight City Hall…” but you sure as hell can give it a black eye.
