This is the fourth in the series of eBooks devoted to Kids and the toys they all crave. Please take your time in reading this eBook and you can always print it out for play by play suggestions, tips and tricks for the rest of us. Who are the rest of us? Well you and me of course. Maybe you don’t have a lot of money to spend, but you have the heart and desire to get the best, safety-conscious toys for your child that you can, that’s why I wrote these great eBooks for the rest of us. Thanks and happy reading.
Teachers use classroom toys and games to enhance their students learning. It is a proven fact that when children play they learn more and retain more. Do you remember the spelling games that you played in elementary school, or the outdoor field games and playground activities? Chances are that you still remember many of these schoolyard games because they captivated your interest, held your attention, and satisfied your need for fun. Just as these sports related activities were fascinating and mesmerizing, the same principle can be used to retain more difficult facts and skills. By using creative play, classroom toys, and games, learning can be fun. In fact, many students will keep hold of the facts learned during play then through any other method of learning.
There are classroom toys and games that are applicable for every subject area of learning. In fact, some of the more difficult subjects can now be enhanced through computer games. Whether it is the old-fashioned spelling bee, or a new and exciting adventure through geometry, using games and classroom toys that are filled with fun and imagination will help students take hold of new facts, applications, and processes.
Depending upon a school districts classroom budget, some teachers may be able to purchase classroom toys for their students while others will have to pay for the expense out of their own pockets. However, there is a tax deduction for teachers who do purchase these items for their students. Many teachers however prefer to create their own classroom toys and games.
