Highway 76

"We have all made plans--some of them are short-term, while other plans, like going to college for instance, take years to manifest. We sometimes choose routes to take that lead us to things we did not know we would ever encounter. From there is it up to us to either internalize these scenes, or reflect and utilize them to create and learn. "Highway 76" is a poetic reflection of the four year period of my life after high school. Each poem is a snapshot of things from my life during this time that I either experienced or observed from my own personal perspective. The collection itself is a reflection of life; some parts are flowing and beautiful, while some are rough and cold. The entire collection, however, is my very soul's reflection of the life I have experienced. "Highway 76" is the "route" I took, and it is the path that made me the person that I am today."
