Rune magic was responsible for the destruction of the Elves thousands of years ago. But recently, a runestaff has been discovered by an evil wizard with designs on ruling the world. Kotilis, a young wizard just out of academy, has been chosen to combat the deadly threat along with his friends, an orc and the spirit of a dead Elf queen.
