Not Ready To Die

Born in a boxcare along Southern Pacific railroad tracks, he spent his youth in the harsh New Mexico badlands sent to a ranch at 8 years old and joined the CCCs at 15. When WWII started he jumped into battles with the Army's 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team making the famed DRAGOON drop. Many times throughout his life he should have died, but managed to survive.
