This is the second book in the Favors series. Emily Vanderhorn, elderly and a victim of a nearly fatal stroke two years ago, is still recovering at her beachfront home in Florida. Her granddaughter, Mikki, has moved into the Pink Flamingo mansion and taken an engineering job close to her their home.
