Caleb Innes had grown up with Kate Paradise's mother. He'd assisted at Kate's birth aboard his ship, the Puritan Paramour. But Kate had never considered him a favored uncle as her siblings had -- no, she had considered him only one thing: her first husband. Set in 1873, PARAMOUR is an adventure that begins in San Francisco on Nob Hill and in the notorious district known as the Barbary Coast, sets sail for the Sandwich Isles (Hawaii), and returns for a conclusion that shows Kate that while winning her heart's delight, her plot has disastrous and dangerous effects on those she loves.
