Angel in Spikes - The Werewolf War

Book III in the Angel in Spikes Series. The newly recruited female werewolves greatly enjoy their life as such with very few exceptions that they keep discovering in the traditions and conduct of their new tribe. Then, in one of their forays in a deep ravine the packs stumble upon a group of five werewolf females in terrible physical and mental shape, who they take home and nurse them back to health.
The women tell them that they were hiding in the woodsafter escaping from captivity by a clan of malevolent werewolves who had been breeding with them in order to increase their diminishing numbers. Also, that it's this group's aim to eradicate all other clans who aren't of their ilk, and must therefore be destroyed as soon as possible, before their numerical strength becomes superior to all other clans.
Angela and her friends concur that it's kill or be killed time, and set up a plan to do so by recruiting an acquaintance of Angela, whom she had rescued a year earlier from a murder rap of which he was innocent--Dwayne Pillips, a retired SEAL group leader and a fierce warrior. He agreed to help, especially after voluntarily being turned into a werewolf himsef, and sets up an operation that will eliminate all the malevolent beasts who are holed up in an old abandoned silver mine near Reno Nevada.
Dwayne assembles his old SEAL team, and two weeks later they attack the werewolf compound and destroy all of them while resuing another captive group of breeding females
