Passion in an Improper Place

An American family takes a vacation up the Amazon and then up a tributary. They get into all kinds of trouble involving Indians, gold miners, timber rustlers, and the gumball king of Amazonia. The protagonists, a happily unmarried couple, end up falling in love with all the wrong people. They're lucky to get out alive...or don't they?
