The Gift

"The Gift" is a short story starring Arielle, the younger sister of the town rebel who went missing over a year ago under very suspicious circumstances. Plagued by anorexia after her sister's disappearance, Arielle suddenly finds herself plagued by a new world of the specters who have begun to show up around her town. At first she is unsure if these people are hallucinations brought on by her starved mind, or indeed the ghosts they proclaim to be. What she does not realize is that this gray world of ghosts may be her only way to find learn where her sister really is - and how she got there. The Gift is a story of spirits, but also of loss, and of the bond between sisters.
