Book 9 A Libertarian Paradise

Commander Gulliver and his friends visit The United Colonies-- a libertarian paradise. Equality of opportunity is the major ideal here. There is no social welfare system. if people want medical, retirement or other benefits, they pay for the insurance themselves. Taxes are low here except for the inheritance tax. This death tax takes most of the money that an individual has learned through his life. Everyone is responsible for himself or herself. Government is minimal. It is just what libertarians should aspire to.
