The Adventures of Donnie the Dragon Fly in Meadow Wood Land

The author is a first-time grandmother to her first grandson, Donnie. She was inspired to write her story for her grandson as a Christmas present. Her mother read to her and she read and sang to her children. Now she has a book for her daughter to read to her grandson.

This book was written to help children learn to read by letter identification, as in “D” for “Donnie the Dragon Fly.” The author used to draw pictures for her daughter to make her laugh and smile. Now this book can make her grandson smile, along with all the children who enjoy this book as their mom, dad, siblings, aunts, or uncles read to them, and they have fun learning to read.
