Two Latin Plays for High-School Students

Crafted by a high school instructor in the Omaha High School for students, these two plays pack material from various ancient sources into its many dialogs. The first short play is set in an classical Roman classroom where future greats, such as Cicero and Caesar, compete with verse and wit. The second recounts a Roman wedding in 63 BC and the colorful ceremonies surrounding it. Enjoy the useful notes throughout the volume as well as costume design suggestions. These pages provide a respite from the toils of Latin study and a little entertainment to add a laugh to the Latin classroom and a remedy to the ever present need to "make this Latin interesting to our students."
