The Seventh Priest: The Sudan’s Pagan Offering Day

While most people outside of Africa ask where is the Sudan, most Sudanese insiders know it is the place of war, death, genocide, Darfur, the Muslim north, the Christian south and old pagan ways. As brutal terrorist attacks continue in the heart of Khartoum, the Islamic Government is scheduled to meet with the new Government of Southern Sudan to negotiate a peace treaty. Anthony Rodder, one of the U.S. State Department's senior counter-terrorism advisors, must go back into Sudan one last time…and this time he needs help from the most unlikely sources.

Although most in Washington D.C. believe that the Islamic leadership in Khartoum is responsible and likely using chemical weapons to do its dirty work, others are eager to prove that something more sinister and evil is going on. Help comes from two British women, anthropologist Karen Dupris and Archeologist Grace Lewis, who are both looking for the same answers to solve their own family mysteries.

With continued peace between Khartoum and Juba at grave risk, any chance of peace in Darfur diminishes after each attack. Will Anthony Rodder be able to end this senseless bloodletting?
