Death In The Wilderness

As I walked along a lonesome path, I was overtaken by the beauty of the enormous trees in the thick forest that surrounded me. Before I could take it all in, I felt like I was being followed by an evil presence. I knew something was wrong, but I just kept walking faster and faster in an attempt to not lose focus on my destination. Even thought I would hear my heart beating out of my chest, I had to keep pressing forward to my cabin just beyond the stream. But just as I reached the cabin death was already at my heels with no way out but death.
