The Knighthood of Zion

Zack Heikel learns that the mystery ring he found in an old mansion hidden safe can produce an image in a flux field when exposed to the Earth's magnetic field. He follows the messages in the image and travels to Europe and the ruines of an old castle and finds some ancient artifacts hidden in a subterranean burial vault, where is is suddenly trapped and after several days he follows a strange animal to freedom. Returning to the States he is arrested by the CIA and the items confiscated. One of the artifacts turnes out to be "THE HOLY GRAIL". The CIA uses the Grail to complete another artifact and with this addition the machine can contact God. It is nothing other than the "Ark of the Covenant" God is contacted in the third and final book in the series, "Second Genesis"
