THE WORKS OF UPTON SINCLAIR: Volume I 1898-1911 contains nine Sinclair novels from the early part of his long career. While his early novels did not at first generate much interest, his 1906 expose of the meatpacking industry, THE JUNGLE, garnered Sinclair significant press and acclaim as a muckraker and author.
