Redoubt of Ghosts

Future terrorists have found a weapon more deadly than bombs--they've destroyed the human genome. A desperate plan to travel in time, collecting the shreds of human DNA, may be mankind's only hope for survival. But first, the searchers have to survive themselves, which isn't easy amid the battles of Thermopylae or the siege of Carthage.
