MANHASSET STORIES: A Baby Boomer Looks Back

Manhasset, Long Island is the well-loved town immortalized in JR Moehringer's TENDER BAR. Rosenwasser, a former resident of the town, grew up during the mid-20th century and tells the stories of her time, from popovers to pool parties. The author's Manhasset features have appeared in the NEW YORK TIMES and have won both Long Island and New York Press Association awards.
