Using her life experiences as fuel, Empress Poetry continues to strive at improving her writing. She credits her strength to being a black woman, a single mother and a child of God. She has embraced the lessons taught to her by many strong women in her lineage, her daughter, as well as lessons taught to her by the Most High to keep her grounded on this journey.
