From the day Bobbi saw her first airplane, she just knew she would learn to fly: it was in her blood. Bobbi was 16 when she had her first airplane ride, in an OX5 powered Jenny. By the age of 22 she earned enough money to make her dream come true. She went over to Burdett Fuller's Flying School in Los Angeles and signed up for a flying course. Her first lesson was a disappointment to her. It was on paper, on the principles of flight. Her next lesson, however, was in the sky, on Jan. 1, 1928, and that started a long and exciting career in aviation.
