CAROLYN From Texas To The Matterhorn Through Hollywood

This is a book about tough reality and a woman named Carolyn. The book is fiction based on the life of a Texas beauty gone to Hollywood to find fame. It is titled "Carolyn,from Texas to the Matterhorn through Hollywood" and it begins in a driveway in front of a Texas shack; a drunken father aiming his shotgun at his family as they flee in terror. It is a family burdened with incest and poverty. It is Carolyn's family and her beautiful mother stays with her drunken father because she has no way to make a living on her own. Carolyn takes her lessons for survival from her mother, men and sex become her tools for survival and luxury yet obstacles in her path to the life she always wanted.
While still in Texas Carolyn graduates from high school and marries her high school sweetheart but he is drafted into the Army and she divorces him while he is fighting in the Vietnam Jungle. After the divorce Carolyn takes a bus to Hollywood looking for stardom, ending up on the street and losing her soul in a porno movie. She meets Madam Alex and becomes a high-priced "call girl" servicing movie stars and royalty. Her brother comes to visit and kills himself in her apartment. Later she meets Paul McCartney and he falls in love with her but she has lost the ability to feel love for a man. Paul soon realizes he is being used by her for his wealth and dumps her. As she ages she finds a new form of prostitution -- marriage. She marries a record executive who is caught up in a drugs-for-airplay scandal and is fired because of it. Carolyn goes back to prostitution to pay the bills when he is disabled by a heart attack. Her husband dies of a heart attack while caught in a snowstorm on the Matterhorn with she and a former john. After that her dreams of the Matterhorn become much to real. Later, Carolyn meets a man who truly loves her and she truly loves him, but when he loses his fortune in the stock market things change between them. The ending to this story will stun you.
