A Thousand Years in Sicily: From the Arabs to the Bourbons

This is a history of Sicily from the invasion of the Arabs to the Garibaldi exploit that resulted in the annexation of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies to the new Italian Kingdom under Victor Emanuel II. It is a fast moving and dramatic excursus through the various dominations of Sicily related against the background of the Sicilians' will for independence.
