BORIS GODUNOV is a drama detailing the life of Boris Godunov, regent and then Tsar of Muscovy from the 1580s until 1605. His death during the Time of Troubles saw a devastating famine, foreign invasion, and general unrest prior to the establishment of the Romanov Dynasty in 1613. BORIS GODUNOV is considered to be one of the most important works by Pushkin.
