EUGENE ONEGIN is a tale of unrequited love. It follows the life of a Russian dandy who leaves the city to take up an inherited estate in the Russian countryside. There, he meets Tatyana, a young beauty who soon falls in love with him. After a duel in which a rival for Tatyana's love is killed, Onegin flees abroad for several years. Upon returning to Russia, he seeks to renew his love to Tatyana.
