Steven, on the other hand, focuses the entirety of his evil on revealing the secrets of Jack’s past as repayment for selling him out during his trial. After being prematurely and secretively released from prison, all hell breaks loose. Steven targets high profile case-studies of Jack’s as well as key members of their past and brutally murders each one. As an extensive FBI man-hunt ensues, all of Jack’s buried secrets resurface leaving his reputation tarnished and what’s left of his family in grave danger.
With each murder grows Steven’s popularity and that of his heralded band of vigilantes, Lynch’s Mob. Crime rates drop across the country and support cells pop up everywhere including Jack’s own house. As Steven guides Jack and the FBI through a deadly game of cat-n-mouse he publically exposes each blundering step along the way. Encompassed with frustration the FBI loses sight of Steven’s true intentions which are murdering Jack and the rest of his family.
As the moment of truth closes in, Jack realizes that he must choose between the safety of his new wife, Allison and that of his beloved son, Tyson. His actions will prove costly for one just as they did so many years prior for his lost loves, Kate and Avery.
