National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey: 2007 Outpatient Department Summary

Medical Care Survey (NHAMCS) has been gathering, analyzing, and disseminating information about hospital outpatient departments (OPDs) and emergency departments (EDs) since 1992. NHAMCS and the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS) are part of the ambulatory component of the National Health Care Surveys, a family of surveys that measure health care utilization across various types of providers.
