This is a story about an American woman who traveled to Japan to volunteer after the earthquake and tsunami on March 11th, 2011. Recounting stories heard from those on the ground, as well as personal experiences and insights of life in Tohoku, Japan, there is laughter, pain, joy, and tears told with brutal honesty.
