Burgus C. Garrison has for over forty years composed his own invocations and benedictions for dinners. He has served as chaplain of several Freemasons organizations. This book is not limited to Masonic Prayers. It can be adapted to any organization by making your own variations of it.

Burgus C. Garrison matriculated from San Diego State College with Bachelor of Science Degree in real estate and a minor in business management; he retired as superintendent of maintenance and utilities with thirty-two years of federal civil service including time in the Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Garrison is also a life member of the Honor’s Society, Beta Gamma Sigma American Schools of Business, San Diego State College.

In high school, Garrison personally published the first school newspaper, doing all the typing, cartoons and printing. While in the Navy, he wrote a monthly column for the U.S. Naval Training Center Newspaper, The Hoist, in which he tried to reduce the antagonism of recruits toward Civilian employees by pointing out the military experience of most of the civilians who had seen years of combat, some prisoners of war, and were now retired and serving their country in another capacity.
