ALCENT

Alcent is the first book in the Alcent trilogy. The story begins in 2092 when Captain Jerry Jerontis commands Earth's first starship on a journey to the Alpha Centauri System. His mission is to establish a human community on Alcent, a dinosaur planet orbiting Alpha Centauri A. En route to Alcent, Captain Jerontis makes friends and enemies when he gets involved in a worldwide war on Zebron, a human populated planet orbiting Alpha Centauri B. After using overwhelming force to bring the terrible war to an end, the Earth people resume their journey to Alcent. From orbit, they explore the planet looking for the best place to build a home. For some degree of security from fierce dinosaurs, they select a small island in the middle of a large lake. However, complete safety is impossible because pterodactyls are huge and they fly. Other predators are comfortable in the water and can easily swim from island to island. As if they didn't have enough danger to worry about, life becomes more complicated on a warm, peaceful afternoon when the Earth people discover evidence indicating that they might not be alone on Alcent.
The Alcent Trilogy will take you on a gripping imaginary escape to another time and place where dinosaurs roam free and pterodactyls rule the sky. You will be entertained by daring outdoor adventure, suspense, conflict, romance, mysteries to solve, and even some humor. You will not find any profanity or crude vulgar language in the Alcent Trilogy.
