Crocheting Pattern for Newborn Thick and Thin Beanie Hat

This is a crocheting pattern to make a newborn baby beanie. The yarn used for this beanie hat is called Thick and Thin Merino yarn which is absolutely my favorite yarn of all! It is a gorgeous handspun yarn that you can purchase on Etsy. If you don't want to use this type of yarn, any super bulky (#5-6)yarn will work just fine. Another option would be to use two strands of a worsted weight yarn held together. This hat can be embellished with ribbon, clip on flowers, or a great big button. Super easy pattern suitable for a beginning crocheter.
