This is a novel. The characters and the story are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons and events are purely coincidental. Although this is a fictional account, it required over two years of research into the dark world of controlling religious cults. It should be noted that the word cult doesn’t always denote a negative and destructive group. But in this novel the author has set out to show how the events and circumstances experienced by Patricia Sue Benton turned her into the go-between of God and her five hundred congregants. They depend on her to relay messages on how to deal with life’s major issues, such as choices in the major areas of marriage, family size, careers and large purchases. Patricia and God even deal in the mundane minutia of everyday life.
