Cambridge and Dorchester County - The Heart of the Awesome Eastern Shore - Day Tour Number 2

This is the second in a series of one day tours of Cambridge and Dorchester County, Maryland. This trip visits the famous/infamous Suicide Bridge. Don't be tempted to add to the local lore; just enjoy the crab balls, the paddle wheelers, and the crab sculptures. The bridge isn't that high these days anyway.

Then, thrill in the accomplishments of a man who could build wooden boats and ships without plans. Mr. Jim Richardson built skipjacks, bugeyes, and other Chesapeake Bay work boats, and even rebuilt a windmill. Watch the restoration of some of them and tour the museum dedicated to this Master Shipwright of the Chesapeake. Even take a look at Mr. Jim's original boat yard.
